move — Move or rename files and directories

Synopsis

move [-f] [-i] source_file target

move [-f] [-i] source_file... directory

Description

move moves or renames files and directories specified from the command line interface.

Options

The following options are available:

-f

Do not prompt for confirmation before overwriting files.

-i

Always ask before overwriting files.
