playerctl — Control interface for the media player

Synopsis

playerctl -F | -M | -m | -N | -P | -R | -p | -s | -u

Description

playerctl is a control interface for the media player.

Options

The following options are available:

-F

Fast forward within the file currently played.

-M

Skips to the previous file in the playlist.

-m

Mute the audio output.

-N

Skips to the next file in the playlist.

-P

Pause (or unpause) playback.

-R

Rewind within the file currently played.

-p

Starts (or unpause) playback.

-s

Stops playback.

-u

Unmute the audio output.
